Clipping Path

A clipping path is confined to vector path or shape which is used to cut out an image using image editor tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Any object inside the image will be cut and the rest parts outside the path will be excluded with clipping path. Most of the time, Clipping Path is applied to take a part of an image and place that on another background.

The inside part of a path is marked by its direction. Changing the direction of a path reverses what is considered inside or outside. An inclusive path is one where what is visually "inside" the path corresponds to what will be preserved; an exclusive path, of opposite direction, contains what is visually "outside" the path.

The common use of clipping path is to remove objects that are less needed because of staying outside the users viewport or fuzzy by visual elements.
